Pittsburgh police have arrested one man, and are still looking for others in the stabbing of Steelers tackle Mike Adams.
According to Michael Hasch of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, 25-year-old Michael C. Paranay was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related crimes for the Saturday morning carjacking attempt.
According to the police report, Paranay allegedly sucker-punched Adams while another man pointed a gun at him and a third stabbed him
Adams had surgery to repair what the report described as a lacerated colon, and the team has said he’ll make a full recovery.
During the Bruins and Penguins game on April 20th, 2013 Boston Announcer Jack Edwards said Matt Cooke "basically assassinated Marc Savard."
Jack Edwards later apologized on Twitter:
"I made a mistake. My fault all the way. This is my apology. Bad week, bad emotional reaction by me."
