Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

We are looking for a director of digital revenue to drive the digital music marketplace forward and engage advertising agencies and brand marketers in programs that move the needle for their companies. Our inventory consists of in-stream audio, as well as pre-roll video, visual, takeover and custom opportunities from high profile radio and music sites. In this role, you will have monthly revenue targets and will be expected to achieve these targets by: prospecting new clients (agency/direct), presenting ad opportunities to new and existing clients, and working with internal sales team to deliver new and innovative solutions to clients. This role is not for the faint of heart and requires an understanding of how marketing decisions are made within agencies and marketing organizations in the digital world.

Responsibilities:

  • DDRS will have a cluster budget for digital revenue across all six stations –the major focus is the total monthly cluster number.

  • DDRS will report directly to the DOS of the cluster and will be responsible for all digital revenue for the cluster including all IM events and sports properties

  • Build strategic level relationships at the planning/strategy level in agencies and directly with clients and generate high level campaign ideation to meet client goals and objectives.

  • Develop account strategies to drive long term revenue growth, develop RFP responses and programs, and drive upfront media buying from network as well as spot radio advertisers.

  • Manage the sales pipeline and drive revenue through internal sales force.

  • DDRS will have no direct reports but will have 27 indirect reports. All 27 account executives will have digital revenue budget.

  • DDRS will be responsible to corporate for all digital programs to be implemented at the local level.

  • DDRS will be the major sales resource for the 27 sellers to manage, make sales calls, review the digital elements on the exchange and train & coach all A/E’s.

  • Candidate must exhibit strong sales and management background with strong knowledge and minimum of 3 years’ experience of digital sales.

  • Candidate must be well versed in selling CPM and leverage unique impressions to maximize revenue potential on all six websites.

  • Candidate must be able to work with Content directors and PD’s to help create sales ordinated programs.
